Today was the day when Leigh was supposed to report for OCS. It was with fear and excitement that she called our parents and said, "I'm at the gate and about to go in." She was ready to be sick but knew that her life was about to change in amazing ways. God had brought her to the gates and has a very specific plan for her life. We won't hear from her again until at least October 25th when she "may" have liberty and be able to leave base and call home.
No more make-up, high heeled shoes, and fancy clothes. Life for my little sis has changed forever! Of course, our letters must still include details about "Project Runway" and LSU football scores.
